What loob.io is, and what it is for
A small, deliberately narrow publication about the shift from a web people read to a web software acts on. Written in Vienna, published in English, funded by a company that builds in the same field - which is stated rather than hidden.
The subject
Six threads, treated as one story: Web4, AI agents, voice AI, autonomous commerce, the intersection of AI and blockchain infrastructure, and digital ownership. They are usually covered by separate communities that do not read each other, which is why the same problem gets solved three times under three names.
The editorial rules
- State the maturity. Every claim about a technology says whether it is in production, emerging, or unsolved. Most disappointment in this field comes from mixing the three.
- Take a position. A page that lists every viewpoint without weighing them is a search result, not an article.
- Name the commercial interest. Where a product built by the publisher is relevant, it is named as such, in the text, with the relationship stated. There are three such mentions on this site.
- No gates. No newsletter wall, no download form, no cookie banner - because there are no cookies to consent to.
Who publishes it
loob.io is published by NEOB Technology GmbH in Vienna, a company that builds AI systems commercially. That is a conflict of interest worth being explicit about: a publication about AI agents, run by people who sell AI agents, has an obvious incentive to be optimistic. The countermeasure used here is the maturity labelling - it is difficult to oversell a field while publishing a list of the parts of it that do not work.

The domain's earlier life
loob.io previously sat in the digital assets and collectibles space, and then sat idle. Reviving a domain for an adjacent subject is common enough that it is worth saying what carried over and what did not: the technical subject matter carried over, none of the old content did, and the main lesson from that period - that ownership of a pointer is not ownership of a thing - turned out to be directly relevant to the provenance problems generative AI created.
Technical notes
The site is server-rendered, loads one self-hosted typeface, sets no cookies, embeds no analytics, and makes no third-party requests of any kind. Every page is readable without JavaScript. This is partly a privacy position and partly a demonstration: a content site in 2026 does not need 40 requests to render a paragraph.
